Photos and videos nowadays are as easily manipulated online as a written text. The session will cover visual evidence verification and geolocation methods using openly available online tools.

Each method will be illustrated by case-studies. A quiz for visual evidence verification and a practical task for geolocation will strengthen the newly-acquired knowledge and develop some early verification muscle-memory to use while exposed to a possible case of visual manipulation.
