• The Jury and the participants and have to follow the rules and requirements of ISC 2021.
  • Active participants hold full responsibility for their performance at ISC 2021 including preperation of presentations and posters. Posters have to be placed in their intended places that will be marked with author’s name and title of the abstract.
  • The procedure of the sections of ISC 2021 is determined by the rules and requirements of the Organising committee of ISC 2021. The Jury and the participants are not allowed to arbitrary change the procedure without prior agreement with the Organising committee.
  • Oral presentations must be presented in English
  • Presentations must be created in Microsoft Office Powerpoint *.ppt or *.pptx format (Microsoft Office 2013 compatible). Presenters take full responsibility of the presentation quality and file format
  • The first slide of the presentation should include the Title, Authors and Scientific research supervisor. The presentation should follow the same structure as the abstract
  • Presentation should last no longer than 7 minutes, followed by a 3 minute discussion
  • The presentation session coordinator has the right to interrupt any report or discussion after the given time has elapsed
  • Only one author can be the presenter (Active participant) and is obliged to participate in the discussion. Other co-authors (Passive participants) can also take part in the discussion
  • Authors can use the official Internatonal Student Conference 2021 presentation template for their presentation
  • Oral presentations have to be sent to info.isc@rsu.lv until March 19th, 2021 23.59 EET 

FOR “CASE REPORT ORAL”:

  • Presentation should last no longer than 5 minutes, followed by a 3 minute discussion
  • All other requirements for oral presentations also apply to case reports
  • Authors can use the official Internatonal Student Conference 2021 presentation template for their presentation
  • Case report oral presentations have to be sent to info.isc@rsu.lv until March 19th, 2021 23.59 EET 

FOR “CASE REPORT POSTER”:

  • A poster must be made using the official International Student Conference 2021 poster template
  • Poster presentations have to be sent to info.isc@rsu.lv until  March 19th, 2021 23.59 EET 
  • During conference days your poster will be available on conference platform. Jury and other audience will be able to ask you question on 22nd and 23rd of March. NB! You do not need to present your work. All what you will need is send poster to organizers and in case of questions answer them.

NB! ISC 2021 organizers are trying to give for you best what online conferences can provide, that is why this year poster sessions are organized in a different way than before.

  • You need to prepare short presentation by using the official International Student Conference 2021 presentation template
  • Presentations should last no longer than 3 minutes, followed by a 2 minute discussion.
  • Your work should not be presented as a one separate slide. You can use powerpoint to make presentation.
  • NB! This exception does not mean that You will receive certificate for oral presentation. Your presentation time is same as it was planned for classic “poster” presentation.
  • All other requirements for oral presentations also apply to poster presentations
  • Presentations have to be sent to info.isc@rsu.lv until  March 19th, 2021 23.59 EET
