There is a month left until Rīga Stradiņš University International Student Conference in “Health and Social Sciences” 2022. RSU ISC 22 will be held on 24th-25th March 2022 at Rīga Stradinš University. 

This year’s conference will have 17 oral, 4 Case report and 6 poster sections, to give local and international students an opportunity to participate with their research in medical or social science fields. To make participation in the conference more special – this year we will organize the Case report finals and the Grand Prix finals, where the best works of the conference will be presented and awarded with special prizes from our partners and sponsors.

Along with these student sessions, there will be more than 15 hands-on workshops and mastershops to improve practical skills and see the future of simulation-based medical education as well as get acquainted with the secrets of RSU Anatomy museum, make anatomy art by drawing your own skull, understand the value of sleep, discover the ingredient of a tasty Ramen soup and etc. You can apply for any workshop HERE

During the opening ceremony there will be a chance to listen to fascinating keynote speakers, like Vice President of Global Strategic Networks – Marat Fatkhullin, who has worked on many successful collaborative projects including developing regional economies through evidence-based partnerships between industry and universities and advising universities transformation into an entrepreneurial mode.

Plenary sessions will be focused on the main question of the Conference this year –  Science is our future: What if the future is already here? There will be 2 panel discussions “First steps to truly digital healthcare” and “Personalized medicine in genetics” which will reflect the current situation and future goals in the healthcare system from various perspectives. We can’t forget about pre-conference events like Hakaton on the topic of EdTech and various activities for social science students such as mock trials, a lecture on Verification of visual facts, and discussions with public figures.
