”Insight into modern cardiac surgery”

On March 24, Riga Stradins University (RSU) International Student Conference will host a practical training seminar on the elements of surgical surgery ”Insight into modern cardiac surgery”, which will give the most experienced RSU medical students the opportunity to learn about current events in the field .

The seminar organized so far has always received a great response from students. The PSKUS Heart Surgery Center, in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson, will introduce participants to a variety of modern cardiac surgery, suture materials, surgical sutures and needles. After the theoretical part of the seminar, students will be able to test their practical skills and techniques in operating on pig hearts.

Attendance at the seminar is free and a certificate of participation will be awarded. It is organized by the Heart Surgery Center of Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital with the support of Johnson & Johnson and RSU Student Union.
